Once again, The 3rd Annual Scooter Sherrill Alumni Throwback Tournament lived up to the hype!! There were comebacks, there were blow outs, there were spectacular plays made by STILL spectacular players!!! And not only were the games played at a level that was entertaining for the fans, but the competition amongst old friends, and even bitter rivals, created the drama that any former player can appreciate.
Though the West Rowan Falcons fell short of even making it to the championship game to attempt a 3-Peat this year, the Double OT performances between A.L. Brown (Kannapolis), led by Avery Patterson & North Mecklenburg with their outstanding phenom, Jamie Skeen, showed that there is more and more to look forward to each summer!
