It's that time of the year again... as the crowd of fans and supportive high school alumni begin to migrate from all parts of Rowan and surrounding counties, we know it must be time for another summer classic! The 3rd Annual Scooter Sherrill Alumni Throwback Basketball Tournament kicks off this Friday July 27th - Sunday July 29th @ Carson High School...
For some, these will be a series of glorified pick-up games which allow the young gunners to showcase their "A" game, while the living legends get a chance to back up their resumes. As some players show they've still got it, others will muster up enough juice to keep pace all in good fun... you've seen "The Lebrons" and "Uncle Drew" (hahaha!)... In any case, the compilation of players create All-Star rosters that resemble rival games of yester-year, and the tournament setting produces an ideal stage for clutch performances! Those are the facts, so the only question that remains is, will the West Rowan Falcons 3-Peat???
Or is that an inevitable #YAKfact as well?!
