Fantasy Football Draft Results; Grade: B-

THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!

Welp, drafting at the #2 spot in a 10-player league was a challenge, but I don’t think I did half-bad… I got the first pick I wanted all along in Green Bay QB, Aaron Rogers… BAM!! [insert aggressive belt symbol here]… but then it seemed like it took foreverrrrrr to pick again!! SMH, watching player-by-player, big-name by big-name drop off my highlighted Pre-Draft Rankings board was wiggity-wiggity-wiggity-wack!!  Picking at #2 was cool, but having to wait until #19 to select again, just threw a monkey wrench in my whole QB-QB or QB-RB strategy.  So what else does an 11-year fantasy football veteran like myself start doing in times like these but turn the focus towards stacking up big name wide outs for trade bait!!

In the end, I came out with a solid receiving core in Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, and Chad Ochocinco… two stingy Defenses of both NY teams out of the Meadow Lands… a veteran Kicker playing in a dome in Ryan Longwell… and of course, some formidable Defenders lead by the golf cart flipper and muscle mutant himself, Pat Willis...

But in all honesty... my RBs are shaky, at best… SMH.  In a game where RBs have the ability to make or break your team, I've definitely got my work cut out for me in the free agent market and on the trade-lines.

So for now, here's my team as it stands now... drafting wise, I give myself a "B-" for now.
What do you think?

We show promise of being effective in the passing-game and hoarding in some extra points on the Defensive-end, but the unexpected always causes reason for concern.  But then again, isn't that what makes fantasy football so addictively-fun!?  YAK!

Here are a few of my "franchise" notables that I was looking to land in this year's draft but didn't quite get to... but don't worry, I'll find away to aquire a few of them back on their rightful team sometime during the season...

-Drew Brees
-Larry Fitzgerald
-DeShaun Jackson
-Chris Johnson

-Stephen Jackson
-Darren McFadden
-Beanie Wells
-Brian Urlacher
-Nate Kaeding

So now I gotta get on the wire to make a trade or two to sure up our ground attack, but baring key injuries, we should be okay this season… see ya'll at the Super Bowl, like YAK!

How is your team looking?
