Tournament Week 2013 - Thursday In-Store @ Velocity

As we do annually, next Thursday, I'll be starting this year's CIAA "weekend" off on deck w/ 9th Wonder & the Jamla Musis Group for in-store performances at Velocity Sneaker Boutique.  This year, along with the introduction of the "I am Ron Bass" Collection, The Mash Out King, DJ Skillz has also been added to the bill with other special guests!  It's all FREE and I guarantee it'll be hard for you to hear that word again anywhere else during CIAA!!!

"95 Live" Recap: DJ Premier Edition

Last month, "95 Live" featured the Legendary Pete Rock...
and I'm STILL kinda salty I missed it! SMH

But this month, my homie and I made plans to take a quick road trip to the Triad for what I'll call "Raleigh's Hip Hop Headquarters" as the World Famous DJ Premier took over the wheels of steel at Five Star... and YAK I was FRONT ROW!!!

Not many words can express how #EPIC the event was, but if you dig hip hop for the culture, and love looking back over your life to simply reflect on experiences that make you who you are, you would have thoroughly enjoyed this one like YAK! 

Big shout outs to my sis for the love!!  Be on the look out of the next date in September!!!
